About Us

Founded by Socrates Loginidis, our work is built on a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship, fishing, and the local waters of East Lyme—home for over 24 years.

With a professional background as a marina yard worker, Socrates brings a highly hands-on skill set to every rod he touches. What began as a personal passion outside of work has grown into a commitment to building and restoring custom fishing rods that combine durability, performance, and a distinct, custom look.

Socrates is also a graduate of the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute, where he gained a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems, fish biology, and the science behind ocean environments. His time there strengthened his knowledge of how fish behave, migrate, and respond to environmental factors—insight that directly translates into how he approaches fishing and gear performance.

Years spent fishing the local waterways—learning the patterns of bait, tide, and timing—have shaped the foundation of the brand. Landing trophy fish isn’t just about luck; it’s about precision, experience, and trusting your gear. That understanding drives every repair and custom build.
